Refund & Cancellation Policy
Effective date: April 20, 2026
1. Overview
Mitwa offers paid subscription plans (Pro and Premium) processed via Razorpay, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. This policy describes your rights regarding refunds and cancellations.
2. 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee
The 7-day money-back guarantee applies to:
- First-time upgrades from Free to Pro or Premium
- First-time upgrades from Pro to Premium
The guarantee does not apply to:
- Renewals of an existing subscription
- Accounts found to be in violation of our Terms of Service
- Requests made more than 7 days after the payment date
- Accounts that have already received a refund under this guarantee
3. Cancellation
You may cancel your paid subscription at any time from Settings → Security → Cancel subscription.
- Upon cancellation, your paid features remain active until the end of your current billing period.
- No partial refunds are issued for unused days in a billing period, except under the 7-day money-back guarantee (Section 2).
- After the billing period ends, your account will revert to the Free plan. Your data will be retained.
- You can re-subscribe at any time.
4. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund under the 7-day guarantee or for any other eligible reason:
- Email us at support@mitwaai.com with the subject line “Refund Request”
- Include your registered email address and the Razorpay payment ID (available in your billing history or payment confirmation email)
- Briefly describe the reason for your refund request
We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days and process eligible refunds within 7 business days.
5. Refund Processing
- Approved refunds are processed back to your original payment method via Razorpay.
- Refunds typically appear in your account within 5–10 business days depending on your bank or card issuer.
- Mitwa is not responsible for delays caused by your bank's processing timelines.
- Refunds are issued in INR (Indian Rupees), the same currency used for the original transaction.
6. Technical Issues
If you experience a technical problem that prevents you from using core features of your paid plan, please contact us at support@mitwaai.com. We will work to resolve the issue promptly. If we are unable to resolve a technical issue within 7 business days, you may be eligible for a pro-rated refund at our discretion.
7. Double Charges
If you believe you have been charged incorrectly or twice for the same period, contact us immediately with your Razorpay payment IDs. We will investigate and refund any erroneous charges within 5 business days.
8. Yearly Plans
For yearly plans, the 7-day money-back guarantee applies to the full annual amount. After the 7-day window, no refund is available for the remainder of the annual term. We recommend starting with a monthly plan if you are uncertain.
